FOSTER SURVEY WELCOMES GEOSPATIAL/GIS COORDINATOR!
Foster, RI – Foster Survey Company, a professional land surveying company, is proud to announce and welcome Azure Giroux of East Greenwich as the Company’s Geospatial/GIS Coordinator.
In this role, Giroux will be responsible for a wide array of tasks for clients, including utilizing drones for data collection, making maps, performing analyses, and managing digital mapping data. Giroux will assist Foster Survey Company in attracting more customers interested in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and geographic information systems (GIS).

Giroux joins the Foster Survey team after receiving her MS in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Rhode Island in May 2017. After earning her degree, she spent the summer as the GIS Intern for the Town of Jamestown, Department of Public Works and as a Naturalist at the Napatree Point Conservation Area in Westerly. Giroux also holds a BA in English from the University of Vermont. Her personal interests include rock climbing, beekeeping, horseback riding, reading, and traveling.
